Hereβs what Merit users have said about Karen
Honestly, I felt really bad about myself after our meeting. Maybe I misread the situation, but she seemed only critical and negative about my resume and my portfolio. Criticism is fine, but a I feel like a mentor should also look at the positive side of a person's work and experience. I didn't sign up here just to have my resume and portfolio criticized. I was looking for a mentor.

Karen gave me a lot of specific, actionable advice regarding the job search. I appreciated her candor and sense of humor and would definitely book another session in the future.
10/10 would do again. Karen gives excellent, actionable feedback that gets straight to the point and also happens to be a really fun and cool person.
