πAbout me
Hello! I'm Alia, a product designer with 14 years of design experience, and 10 years of experience in product design across various platforms and verticals. I'm currently the Head of Product Design at a start-up called Mythic, where I lead product design, and am designing a 0-1 product. I started my design career learning about design at Parsons, where I graduated with an MFA in Design and Technology. My experience has spanned designing end-to-end features for Web, iOS, and Android for companies like MasterClass, WeWork, Grubhub, Etsy, and Foursquare (among others!), where I've worked on core product teams, have worked closely with Brand and Marketing Teams, and have contributed to design systems. I've also incorporated design thinking on teams, hosting workshops and sprints to create new product features and design patterns. Additionally, I have experience in user research, product and design strategy, design systems, and mentoring. I have a soft spot for visual design and really enjoy bringing creativity and innovation to my projects! Overall, my goal is to deliver impactful and delightful user experiences.
